Color Blocking

Color blocking is just simply putting together two or three solid color items to create your look. This can be done very easily by choosing colors that go together. Not matching, just go together. A great place to start getting ideas is the good ole color wheel we all learned about in elementary school. The colors on opposite sides of the wheel are complementary colors, this means...they compliment each other. Blues & oranges, purples & yellows, and reds & greens (just be careful not to look to Christmas-y) You don't have to only go by those colors. Open up your wardrobe pallet of colors and see what you come up with.

Here are a few of my favorites-

Color Blocking/ Blue & Orange

Color Blocking/ Purple & Yellow

Mint and Red

Navy and Purple

Now get creating! Let us know of some great color combos you come up with! Hopefully this helped spark some inspiration for you.
