Trend Watch: Flawless Foundation

As I have mentioned several times on this blog--I am a YouTube beauty tutorial addict. You can check out some of my favorite beauty gurus HERE. Through these lovely ladies I have learned so much about what products to buy and what not to buy. I have learned awesome tricks of the trade and what tools make the whole "putting on a face" process quicker and easier. A tool that I purchased based on several beauty guru recommendations is the Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki foundation brush.

 This is the ONLY foundation brush several of my fave gurus use. It is fairly priced at $18.00. And I must tell you...it is fabulous. In the past, I have put foundation on using my hands, a sponge, and several other types of brushes. This is by far THE BEST foundation brush I have ever used. BONUS--I don't get my hands dirty! This brush absorbs no product so nothing is wasted. It creates a smooth, streak-less application that I am so happy with. I have several other eyeshadow brushes from Sigma and plan to pick up a few more in early November at a Sigma party I am going to. YAY!! Trend Watch: {Faux Leather Pants/Leggings}

I picked up a pair of faux leather leggings at Forever 21 ($13.50) a few weeks back. I was slightly hesitant about wearing them at first. I put my brave face on and wore them out to an anniversary dinner with my hubs. They were unbelievably comfortable and super stylish. Of course, they are edgy and give off a certain vibe no matter what you pair with them but they are sooo fun! I even convinced my gorgeous sis to grab a pair too! (Have you worn them yet girl? Huh?) There is definitely a Six Ways to Style post coming up on these babies! Check out some famous ladies pulling them off and then me attempting to rock them on my anniversary!

Trend Watch: Tribal Print!

Tribal print is a very up and coming trend right now. At first I didn't know how much I liked it, but then I found a couple of cute pieces! Now I'm in love with it! I started with a pair of shorts at Old Navy, then found a great flowy shirt at Marshalls. If your not sold on the print, but would like to try it in small doses. I would suggest a scarf or a tank to layer over.  I found that this was a perfect way to add some pattern to my wardrobe. Here are some other pieces I found to give you an idea of what I'm thinking of. Don't be afraid to try something new! You never know what your going to love. Go out on a limb.. At least find something with a great tribal pattern and try it on in the fitting room. Let us know what you find.
